Sprunt participating in SECU scholarship program
KENANSVILLE — In conjunction with the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) and the State Employees Credit Union (SECU), the Continuing Education Division at James Sprunt Community College is excited to announce its participation in the SECU Foundation Continuing Education Scholarship program for the 2013-14 fiscal year.
The SECU has provided a total of ten (10) $750 scholarships to be awarded in the fall and spring semesters. The target groups for the program are unemployment insurance claimants, unemployed & underemployed adults, military veterans, and members of the NC National Guard, who are enrolled in a tier-2 class such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Barber Training, Dialysis Technician, Pharmacy Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician.
